What to Expect

First Meeting

One of the owners of Gold Coast Estate Sales will meet you at your property and explain every aspect of your estate sale to you. No upfront payment ever, if Gold Coast can’t make you money from your Estate, then we will help you find other options.

Setup and Appraisals

Do not throw anything away without talking to us first. Our process begins with sorting through sellable items, cleaning, photographing, and displaying your treasures. We take care of all of the work and will dispose of any trash while preserving personal information such as tax records or family photos.

Pricing

Once the estate is sorted and staged we begin pricing the entire contents of the house. In addition to years of experience, our expert employees use all available appraisal tools for pricing your items. In the event that we cannot find specific information on a piece we will tap into our large base of accredited appraisers for assistance.

Advertising

Gold Coast Estate Sales uses a multi-platform advertising strategy to maximize exposure and attract the right buyers. Every sale is professionally marketed through EstateSales.net, social media, email campaigns, and targeted online advertising. We also leverage our network of collectors, dealers, and repeat customers to ensure specialty items receive direct attention from qualified buyers. Our goal is to get as many interested shoppers through the door as possible to achieve the highest returns for our clients.

Sale Day

Gold Coast utilizes the latest in point of sale and inventory tracking technology and can accept both cash and card. We advertise locally, on all estate sale outlets, social media, neighborhood signs, and we utilize community-based marketing so that everyone from the professional collector and reseller to the casual weekend shopper will know about your sale.

After the Sale

After the sale is completed all left over items are either donated, disposed of or handled according to your instructions. Once the home is emptied it is then left broom swept and the key is returned to you. Gold Coast Estate Sales uses a point of sale system which allows for an accurate final accounting statement. Within 5 business days, a certified check or money order will be sent to the client.
